# Septic inspectors and radon pros in Cook County, MN

1 MPCA-licensed SSTS inspector businesses and 1 MDH-licensed radon businesses list an address in Cook County. Many work across counties, and most radon pros list a statewide service area.

Minnesota has no single statewide septic-at-sale rule, but many counties and cities require an SSTS compliance inspection at property transfer by local ordinance ([MPCA local SSTS programs](https://www.pca.state.mn.us/business-with-us/local-septic-system-programs)). Ask the county or city SSTS office whether a transfer inspection applies. Inspections must be done by an MPCA-licensed SSTS inspector business.
